Georgianne Duffy

Georgianne, retired US Army Colonel and Vietnam Veteran. Beloved friend of Janet and Pete Samples, long time friend of the Maybrier Family, Julie and Sylvia Sundqvest. Known by her friends as “Duffy” Georgianne leaves many friends at Mercy Franciscan at West Park including tablemate, Charlotte DeWeese. She touched the lives of many friends and former students at Kentucky’s Gateway Community and Technical College where she served as instructor and nursing coordinator for many years as well as a nurse and instructor at Cincinnati Jewish Hospital. Her many years of public service also included several years with the Cincinnati Department of Jeuvenile Corrections. September 30, 2012. Age 77 years. Graveside services will take place today, October 2, 2012 1:00 P.M. at Jewish Cemetery of Greater Cincinnati in Montgomery, 7885 Ivy Gate Lane, 45241. If so desired memorials may be made to the SPCA, 11900 Conrey Road, 45249.
