Sr. beloved husband of the late Virginia (Nee: Lauterbach) Collins.  Loving father of Jim Jr. (Peggy) and Mike (Debby Manning) Collins.  Devoted grandfather of Michael (Brittany) Collins, Sherry (Mike) Barry, Kimberly (Eric) Maguire, Amy (Kevin) Ward and Jimmy Collins.  Cherished great-grandfather of K.C., Landon, Caroline, Jenna, Katie Rose, Abby, T.J. and Aislyn.  Dear brother of Charlie (Betty) and Russell Collins.  July 3, 2013.  Age 88 years.  Visitation will be Sat. Grandpa, I cannot imagine my life without you, but I know that like Mikey said you gave us all the ability to shine in our own ways. You loved us more than anything and gave us strength, support, and determination. You did set the bar high but your love and belief in us made us better. I love you, I miss you and I promise I will be to Katie Rose and Jenna what you were to me. Love, Sherry

Grandpa, you were the north star for many, the rock for us all. Your ability to show patience and love for all of us was unfounded and many times not deserved. You set the bar out of reach for all of us; at the same time silently giving us the ability to shine in our own ways. You were throwing a no hitter going into the ninth. I love you. Michael
