Dr. Joseph M. beloved husband of 64 years to Grace J. (Nee: Boehmer) Casper. Loving father of Talla, Tana and Joseph M. (Lisa) Casper Jr. Devoted grandfather of Erinlee Stiffler, Alex (Albert) Lloyd and Joseph M. Casper III. Dear brother of James (the late Sarah). Dr. Edmund (Colleen) and Victor (Donna) Casper, also the late Madeline Churilla, Freda Rusiecki and Tom Casper. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was a graduate of Baldwin Wallace College in 1946 with a Bachelors of Science – Pre-Med then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and graduated in 1950. Completing his residency in Anesthesiology he practiced anesthesia at Bethesda Oak and North Hospital until his retirement in 1990. He was the former President of Anesthesia Group Practice and Cincinnati and Ohio State Anesthesia Society. He met the love of his life, Grace, while attending medical school and Grace was working as a RN at Bethesda Oak Hospital. He has been a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church since 1957. Spent many years enjoying boating on the Ohio river with his family. He was the happiest in the midst of family and treasured family outings and get-togethers. August 28, 2013. Age 88 years. Visitation will be Monday Sept. 2nd from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, 451-8800. Funeral services will be Tues. Sept. 3rd 10:00 A.M. at Shiloh United Methodist Church, Anderson Ferry and Foley, 45238. If so desired memorial may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church. www.radelfuneral.com
