Ellen (Nee: Hornsby) age 90 of Anderson IN. passed away on Nov. 29th, 2013 at the Edgewater Woods Nursing Home. She was born March 3rd, 1923 in Clay County Ky, the youngest girl of 11 children. She lived inCincinnati Oh. Until 1990 when she moved to Anderson to be close to her daughter. Ellen was a homemaker who loved gardening, making quilts and lending a helping hand to those who had a need. She was a member of the sovereign Grace Church in New Castle, IN.
Beloved wife of the late James Willie Campbell. Loving mother of Donna Sue (Lawrence) Baker. Cherished grandmother of Teresa L. and James D. Baker. Devoted great-grandmother of Liam D., Nolan M. and Oliver J. Baker. Caring sister of Lonnie Thompson. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, William Hornsby and Ollie Hornsby-Thompson, five brothers, Herbert Thompson, Dewey, Danial, Granville and Roy Hornsby, four sisters, Ursa Jones, Flossie Hensley, Katherine Jackson and Lucy Hacker
Visitation will be held on Tues. Dec 3rd from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at the Radel Funeral Home 650 Neeb rd. 451-8800. www.radelfuneral.com

Sue, I just wanted to thank you and Aunt Ellen for taking me in years ago when I had no place else to go. I have never forgotten that. I am so sorry for your loss. Love Lonita Williams
