Anna A. “Fritz” married 58 years to the late H. Willis (Rat) Ratledge M.D. Beloved mother of Willis (Marianne) Ratledge, Ann (John) Carson and the late Steven Ratledge. Devoted grandmother of Cody and Nathan (Katherine) Ratledge, Elizabeth, Emily, Annie, Jack and Carolyn Carson. Graduated Good Samaritan Nursing School. Practiced OB nursing with Dr. Crotty. Lived two years in Japan before settling in the Western Hills area. Devoted to charity work especially the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor and St. John’s Social Service Center. Past Chairman of the Board of the Fantasy Ball and dedicated to its mission for many years. Received “The Franciscan Award” from St. John’s Social Service Center recognizing her outstanding assistance to the poor of the Greater Cincinnati Area. With many dear friends, enjoyed playing masters-level bridge as well as the game of golf at the Western Hills Country Club and Royal Poinciana Golf Club in Naples, Florida. Passed away December 27, 2013 in Cincinnati at the age of 90 years. Funeral services Friday January 3, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Antoninus Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, 367 Dixmyth Ave, 45220 or the charity of your choice.
