Joseph A. Longtime loving partner of Mary Jo Kathman and her son, Mike. Devoted father of J.D. (Lisa) Raphael. Loving brother of Mary Ann (John) Nork, Rose (Jerry) Mussman, Sue (Mike) Kampel. Ann (Mark ) Stowe, Gloria and Tom (Linda) Raphael. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews, loving supportive cousins and friends. Devoted nephew of Alberta Raphael. Joe unexpectedly passed away on Nov. 16th at the age of 62. Visitation will be held on Thursday Nov. 19th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at RADEL FUNERAL HOME, 650 Neeb Rd. (451 8800). Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday Nov. 20th at 10:30am at St. Joseph Church, 25 E Harrison Ave, North Bend, OH 45052. If so desired, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Church or Elder High School. From an Old Soldier, I Salute you Joe for being my friend throughout the years. We met when we were only 10 years old, playing flag football in front of our homes. I can still remember the joy on your face showing me your first “dark room” in your home, in the basement on Sumter Ave. You took some awesome photos. Being in the Army for over 30 years took me away from Cincinnati when I turned 17. However, I was blessed to have eaten lunch with you 3 years ago at “Price Hill Chili” (our childhood hang out) and shared many enjoyable memories of each others life. Joe was honest as they come, caring, very smart, loved God, helped his father immensely raising his brother and sisters after his mother passed at a very young age. I can truthfully and proudly say, “Joe was my best friend”. Joe you were a good man and friend. I am very fortunate you were in my life. You are with our Father in heaven and he has many, many strategic plans for you in heaven. I will miss you my friend,
