Gertrude Fisher

Gertrude Fisher (nee Sumner), 87, of Cincinnati, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 21 April, 2020 with her loved ones by her side. Gertrude was born on 1 May 1932 in Perry County, Kentucky to the late Dave Sumner and Margaret Sumner (nee Couch). Gertrude is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Arthur C. Fisher, her parents, son Ronald M. Fisher, siblings Walter “Buddy”, Alice, Sylvia, Denver, Willie, Sally, and Edward. Devoted mother of Ralph (Colleen) Fisher, and Trudy Fisher. Cherished grandmother of Thomas Fisher, David (Kristy) Fisher, Shannon Fisher, Steven Fisher; and her loving seven great- grandchildren, Franki, Presley, Deanna, Marissa, Madison, Milt Jr., and Mackenzie.

Gertrude’s family remembers her for being a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend to so many. For her love of her grandchildren and great grandchildren she will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts. Currently the family just asks for your thoughts and prayers at this time. A celebration of Gertrude’s extraordinary life will be scheduled at a later date
