Stephen Thomas I. passed away on May 4th 2016. He was born on November 10th, 1947 in Springfield, Ohio. He graduated from Springfield North High School in 1966. He served in the United States Air Force from July 1967 - July 1971, including a tour in Vietnam from February 1970 - July 1971. He was a Park Ranger for the Clark County Board in Springfield from August 1971 - January 1972. He was an Urbana Police Officer from January 1972 - June 1973. He was a Deputy US Marshal from June 1973 and retired in July 2001. He worked as a Court Security Officer from July 2002 - July 2014. He was a Mason and a member of American Legion. He is survived by his wife Charlotte; sons Joshua (Ann), Jason (Jayne) and Steve (Tonya); and grandchildren Aiden, Lilliann, Kaleb, Landon, Leah, and Jill. Visitation will be Sunday May 8th from 2:00 P.M. until the time of funeral services 4:00 P.M. at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, 451-8800. My sincere condolences to you, Charlotte. Stephen was a Classmate at Springfield North High, we graduated together.

We went to school with Steve, what a nice guy. We will meet again some day in the future. RIP Steve.

With a heavy heart I say you my friend may you rest in peace. I worked with Steve for many years and he will surely be missed by many. My prayers and thoughts are with Charllotte and their children and grand-children.
