Ronald L. Kampel

Ronald Kampel, 90, Cincinnati, OH, passed after complications from surgery on Thursday, 4/23. Survived by his beloved six children, Ron (Mari), Tom, Mike (Sue), Judy Sellers, Sue, and Dave. Loving grandpa to Zachary (Amy), Mindy, Eric (Rutha), Becky, Alex (Bethany), Jared, Larissa, Jesse (Jill), Deven, Dalton, Ryan, Vince, Ally, and Ana. Great-grandpa to Ciera, Connor, Eli, Cayliana, Mark, Eli, Leo, Carter, Christopher, Chance, Payton, Cerenity, Ace, Rita, Coi and Koah. Great-great to Kingston. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Frances, his parents, Edwin and Anna, and his dear sisters, Lois Cohen and Janet Anderson; and grandsons Carlos Sandfoss and Dakota Sellers.

Ron lived a full life and loved his family dearly. He was one of those men who went out of his way to help others and was loved by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. He derived so much joy from seeing and hearing about his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all.


Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. William's Church, 4108 W. 8th St. when possible. Charitable contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. William's Parish. Radel Funeral Home, 513-451-8800 is serving the family.

Ronnie, Tommy, Mike, Judy, Susan, David,and family! I was so saddened to hear of your dad's passing! Mr. Kampel was a great guy! I remember him always with a smile! I can still hear his laugh! So many good memories growing up with your family! I'm sorry I wasn't able to pay my respects in person because of all this virus stuff going on! Sending you all hugs and prayers! I'm sure he's having some laughs with my parents up in heaven! RIP 🙏❤
