Tess was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother always putting others needs before her own. She was very generous. She gave to various charities and to her family.
She did not want to be the center of attention. She was the unassuming person in the back ground that allowed others to shine.
Her family loved her cooking. The grandchildren looked forward to visits to grandma’s house with their special requests.
Her sense of humor and quiet wit were part of her charm. She will be missed by those who love her. She will forever be in our hearts.

We have always loved Mrs. Jackson. As a neighbor and our friend. She was like a grandmother to all of our children. Coming home is not the same knowing she is not there to greet us with her warm smile and wonderful conversation. We loved her deeply and miss her more every day.

Words cannot even come close to expressing how much Tess meant to our family when she became part of our lives in 1969. When she married our dad she stepped into what could have been a very difficult situation yet her love for us even as new "step children" to her was quite evident. It wasn't long before we looked to this wonderful lady as our mom, a title she earned many, many years ago. She was a very simple yet incredible loving and caring person who will be missed a great deal.Thank you for loving us so much these past 51 years. We love you and already miss you. I know you and our birth mom Shirley who will lost in 1967 will hit it of in heaven and become best friends.
