Mary E. Drake

Mary Elizabeth Drake, 83, died May 24, 2017, at Monterey Park Nursing Home in Independence, Mo.

Mary was born October 30, 1933 to Albert Nelson Emery and Mae Green in Ravencroft, Tennessee. She was married to Edward A. Drake Jr. of Duxbury Massachusetts on June 28, 1954. they were long time residents of Delhi Township.

Mary worked in retail and was a cashier at Walmart on Ferguson Road for 18 years before retiring in 2015.

Mary was preceeded in death by her husband, her parents and her sister, Mae Nolan. She is survived by her three children, Bruce (Judy) Drake, Elizabeth John) Braden, Gail (Bob) Niehaus. She was also survived by her eight grandchildren, Tammy (Shawn) Hein, Tony and Nathan Drake, Jessica Poteet, Marianne Braden, Brandon (Kate) and Justin Niehaus and Shannon (Randy) Yejo. Sister of the late Mae Nolan.

Visitation will be Tue. May 30 from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, 451-8800.
