Richard G. Beloved son of the late Ruth (Nee: Ludwig) and George Luken. Loving brother of John (Laura) Luken. Devoted uncle of Max (Megan), Michelle and Mitchell Luken. Great Uncle to Elayna and Maeve Luken. Dear nephew of Marilyn Ludwig and Rosemary Olding. Also survived by numerous other family and friends. Passed away on July 9, 2017 at the age of 60 years. Richard was a 1974 graduate of St. Xavier High School, received his Bachelor's Degree for English and Master's Degree for Technical Theater from Ohio University. He was active in Fountain Square Fools and Magic School Bus Theater Tour. He was a free-lance computer consultant, building and restoring computers. He was active in politics running for State Senate on the Democratic ticket in 2012.

A memorial mass will take place on Saturday July 15th 11:00 A.M. at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1175 Overlook, 45238. If so desired memorials may be made to University of Cincinnati Foundation, Bone Marrow Clinic, P.O. Box 19970, 45219-0970. Radel Funeral Home, 451-8800 serving the family. There will be a celebration of Life following the mass at the home of John and Laura Luken 983 HickoryviewDr. Cincinnati, Ohio 45233.
