Ruth E. (Nee: Pennington) beloved wife of the late Robert C. Gilkey. Loving mother of Sharon (Jim) Boland, Pam (Harry) Stoughton, Bob (Linda) and Dan Gilkey. Dear sister of Shirley (John) Gratsch. Devoted grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 21. Passed away on July 24, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Visitation will be Sat. July 29th from 9:00 until 10:30 A.M. at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, 451-8800. Mass of Christian Burial will follow 11:00 A.M. at St. William Church, 4108 W 8th St., 45205. If so desired memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Indian School, P.O. Box 326, Chamberlin, SD 57326 or Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597, 45263-3597.

Sharon, Pam, Dan and Bob,and your families: I am so sorry for your loss. Ruth was one special lady and i always enjoyed visiting with her. Gene and I especially enjoyed card games with Bob and Ruth and we had so much fun together on our trip out West.

What a beautiful woman, I'm so glad your sitting next to your hubby now, Thanks for always looking after our mom (Laura Maher). What a great family you have. All our love thoughts and prayers. Ruth please give Mom and Dad a big kiss for us.
