Leo C. Beloved husband of the late Edna (Nee: Kauther) Spitzmiller. Devoted father of Linda (Bill) Hassman, Mary (Dennie) Valentine, Vivian (Gary) Harvey and Rose (Jerry) Hennessey. Cherished grandfather of Doug, Scott, Lisa, Jason, Steve, Kevin and Kyle. Loving great-grandfather of Silas, Kai, Josh, Teegan, Brady, Tyler, Cameron, Logan, Ella and Liam. Preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Dear and longtime companion of Lois Dunn. Also survived by numerous other family and friends. Passed away on September 28, 2017 at the age of 98 years. Visitation will take place on Weds. Oct 4th from 9:00am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Dominic church. Mr. Spitzmiller was a great pleasure to know. He lived on my grandma's street and would always make sure he stopped by to say hello or just give a friendly wave. He will be truly missed by his extended family on Kitty Lane.

Mr Spitzmiller was a terrific, most pleasant person. To have known him has been a great honor. Please know that my family and I will be thinking of him and of all of you as you transition through this difficult process.
