Michael W. beloved husband of Amelia L. (Nee: McDaniel) Burke. Loving father of Sara Dorton (Majid El HASSAK). Devoted grandfather of Rayan and Nora. Cherished son of Donald and Mable (Nee: Fleming) Burke. Dear brother of Donna (Ed Menkhaus). Special lifelong friends Jerry, Christina and Holden Yearout, John and Geri Wesseling, Dave and Kim Myers, his furry animals and Sunset Family. He worked at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center on the Public Relations & Communications Duplication Services team for 33 years, providing clients with outstanding service and support. Outside of work, Mike loved theater and was a founding member of Sunset Players. For 38 years, he was a vital force in the community theater group. There wasn’t a job or performance in which he wasn’t an active participant either on or off stage. His kindness and willingness to help others had a significant impact on many lives. His huge heart and gentle nature will be missed every day. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Art Center at Dunham/Sunset Players, www.sunsetplayers.org or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, www.lls.org. An informal memorial service for friends and family will be held on January 6th at 3 P.M. at the Arts Center at Dunham, 1945 Dunham Way, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Michael. I worked with Mike at UC for over 10 years. Mike will be missed by many. God's comfort and love be with all who knew Mike.
