Joseph
Jerry Steven, 61, of Seven Hills, Ohio, was called home, Monday, March 12, 2018. Born April 27, 1956 to Barbara (nee Starnes) and the late George M. Joseph, Steve grew up with his three rambunctious brothers whose antics funded at least one orthopedist’s retirement.
After graduating from Oak Hills High School in 1974, Steve joined the U.S. Army, serving in the Military Police until 1976. He attended the University of Cincinnati on the GI Bill and graduated cum laude with a degree in Law Enforcement Technology in 1983. He also worked for the Cincinnati Common Pleas Court and was employed by the State of Ohio as a State Trooper.
In 1983 Steven moved to Toledo and found computer technology and antiques, which provided funds and social experiences for the rest of his life. His last move was to the Cleveland area in 1995 where he continued to collect many friends and hone his skills as a teller of great stories.
He was preceded in Death by his father, George M. Joseph and his brother Gary R. Joseph. Jerry Steven Joseph is survived by his partner of 25 years, Richard Patterson, his loving mother, Barbara, his brothers Guy, (Ann), and Greg, and several nieces and nephews. He will be deeply mourned by his extended family in Cincinnati and in Peoria and his many friends scattered throughout the country.

Although, Steve, departed us from this earth, he never really left us, for Steve still is alive in our hearts and mind, through us, Steve lives on. May his soul rest in peace, may our prayers help guide him on his journey to our Creator, Steve will not be forgotten.
