Urban “Sonny” Jr., Beloved husband of Carol (Nee: Wright) Ebert. Devoted father of Pam (the late Rob) Umney, Patty Hils, Mike and Dave Ebert. Cherished grandfather of 14 and loving great-grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Dee Meyer. Caring brother in law of Don (Nora) Wright. Also survived by numerous other family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Urban Sr. and Corinne (Nee: Cook) Ebert. Sonny passed away on March 23rd, 2018 at the age of 76. Sonny served on the Cincinnati Police Department for 31 years. Visitation will take place on Tues. March 27th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm (FOP services to be held at 7:30pm) at the Radel Funeral Home 650 Neeb Rd. 451-8800. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Weds. March 28th at 10:00am at St. Teresa of Avila Church. Sincere condolences to all of those who loved Sonny. I will always remember him making me and my wife Juliann drinks at his basement bar when we used to visit during the holidays. Sonny will be missed dearly!

Incredible man whose kindness showed through every time you encountered him at CPD. Great cop and I am sure a great family man. So sorry to hear of your passing.
