Marsha Elaine (Nee: Caudill) beloved wife of Lawrence Joseph Morgan. Loving mother of Jason (Tanya) and Josh (Michelle) Morgan. Dear grandmother of Madison, Hailie, Brody and Margo. Cherished daughter of Charlene (Nee: Sturgill) and the late James Caudill. Dear sister of Linda Kindler, Joan Meeks, Lana Branham and Judy Meyer. Passed away on May 1, 2018 at the age of 68 years. A memorial gathering will take place on Friday May 11th from 5:00 P.M. until the time of the memorial service 7:00 P.M. at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, 451-8800.
Larry Morgan and Marsha Caudill were high school sweethearts at Western Hills High School and were married February 20, 1971. They soon had their two sons, Jason and Josh, and settled into Delhi to raise their family. Larry spent much of his career working as a project manager and estimator for a number of union painting contractors in the Cincinnati area. Despite his busy schedule he managed to always make time for his sons; taking them to their sport practices and games or going fishing or just hanging around the house. He shared his deep love and passions of music and astronomy with both sons and sparked deep curiosities in both. He played in many bands over his life and even made a trip to Nashville in the 70’s to try to earn a record deal with his buddies. In recent years, he enjoyed open mic nights at Miller’s Fill Inn and the Duck Creek Country Club in Northern Kentucky where he jammed with some good friends. Over the past few years, he could be seen out and about with his dog Chewie who was a great pet and companion.
Marsha spent many years working for LaRosa’s; first at the international food and wine shop on Boudinot and later for their import/export business. It is during this time where she cultivated her deep love of cooking and baking. She loved cooking large dinners for her family and her Italian marinara sauce achieved legendary status amongst family and friends. One of her favorite yearly activities was baking Christmas cookies with her sons. And just like the dinners she made, there always was enough cookies to feed an entire army. She always had a huge soft spot for her cats and treated them just like they were her children.
Larry and Marsha recently celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary. They both had huge hearts and loved their grandchildren more than anything. They were always more concerned with their friends and families troubles than their own and leave behind a legacy of love and happiness for all who were fortunate to have known them.
