Eleanor (Nee: Portwood) 93, entered eternal life on July 20, 2020 at her home in Independence, KY. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play. She was preceded in death by her husband John “Happy Jack” Warndorf, her mother Marion Portwood, her beloved Aunt Alice Portwood, and her brother George “Sonny” Portwood. “El” will be dearly missed by her children: John Warndorf (Donna), Ginny Peters (Gary), Jim Warndorf (Lisa), Diane Warndorf (Chris), and Mary D’Amico (Rodney); her seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

The legacy El leaves behind to her family and all those who knew her, and loved her is the value of unconditional love. The value of unconditional love was instilled in her family and will never be forgotten. She always said “ Remember who we are, we are Warndorfs”. WARNDORF STRONG!

We will miss you mom, mother, ma, mama El, grandma, GG, and our Mammy. We love you to the moon and back!! Love you, mean it, always and forever you-SUMMANA********

Visitation will take place on Friday July 24, 2020 held at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd. (451-8800) from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm
