David Richard, Sr, 60, passed away June 26, 2018 in his home in Fort Myers. He was born October 28, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents Dr. Jose G. Ibanez and Laura G. Ibanez (Miller). David attended St. Xavier HS where he met lifelong friends. After working hard to build his career at places including Larosa’s, Emery, and Dow Corning, he became self-employed with Steele Technical Services and Steele Trade Shows. He will forever be known for his love of classic cars and Chris Botti, his huge heart, and contagious laugh. He is survived by his three children David R Ibanez, Jr (Ashley Fargo Ibanez), Mark C Ibanez (Erin Howell Ibanez), and Marissa L Ibanez, as well as his three grandchildren Addison R Ibanez, Mason M Ibanez, and Charlotte L Ibanez. He is also survived by his siblings Ann Erhart (Timothy Erhart, Sr), Gregory Ibanez (Kathleen Anderson Culebro), Ricardo Ibanez, Lisa Smith (Gregory Smith), and Joseph Ibanez (Kimberly Duke Ibanez).
