Betty Jane(nee Philbin) - Western Hills - Beloved mother of Alex Koszo, Jr. (Pamela), Diane L. Collini (nee Koszo)(Dave), and Melody M. Stacey (nee Minges). Grandmother to Kelly Lewis (Patrick), Johnny Ruehlman, Alex Koszo (Laura), Brad Koszo (Jenna), Nick Stacey and Mitch Stacey. Great grandmother to Jake, Michaela, Camryn, Matthew, Brennan, Drew and Reagan. Preceded in death by her beloved twin sister, Anna Mae Weber, brother Herbert and sister Verna Fishter, as well as parents William and Edna (nee Kauther). Loving sister to Dolly (Paul) Spille. Many nieces and nephews. Born on October 28, 1926, she died peacefully at Hillebrand Nursing Home with her family by her side on July 11, 2018 at the age of 91. In her youth, Betty was a champion skater, winning titles in the Ohio Girls ⅙ mile and the 440 yard events. Betty was also an avid swimmer. She retired from Good Samaritan Hospital after 19 years. Special thank you to the staff at Hillebrand Nursing Home, who took loving care of Betty for 7 years. Visitation at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd, Cincinnati, on Monday, July 16 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 P.M.
