Meyer
Thomas R., Devoted son of the late Sylvester and Esther (nee Kluener) Meyer. Loving brother of the late Neal, James and Robert Meyer. Cherished uncle of Sue (the late, Delbert) Pavey, Shirley (Tom) Pfeifer, Jane (Tom) Hamberg, Nancy (Tim) Doyle, Diane (Rick) Martini, Kathy (Larry) Hurley, Vicky (Dave) Shelton, Jill Meyer (Awadagin Pratt), Neal (Barb), Ken (Mary), and Rob Meyer and the late Eileen, Pam and Dawn Meyer. Loving granduncle to 19 and dear great-granduncle to 13. Also survived by numerous other family and friends. Tom passed away on Aug. 7th, 2018 at the age of 89.
Tom served his country in the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart for his honorable service. Ask him how he was feeling…. And with a sparkle in his eye, his response was always “‘fair to middlin”. Tom was a devout Catholic and served St. Teresa parish as head usher of the weekly Saturday, 4:00 Mass for many years. His love of family was unsurpassed and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Mon. Aug 13th from 9:30am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St. Teresa of Avila Church. Memorials may be made to:
