Josephine Rose, (née Makin) died on August 18, at age 96 following a short illness. The ninth and last child of John J. and Ellen J. Martin Makin, she was preceded in death by all her siblings: Margaret, John, Bernard, Walter, Charles, Robert, Mildred, and twin brother Joseph. Josephine was the loving wife of the late Arthur F. Ginter and the devoted mother of four caring sons: David (Stephanie), the late Arthur, Jr. (Angie), the late Mark, and Jeffrey (Michelle). Also survived by former daughter-in-law Jenny Ginter and the Ginter grandchildren: Amanda (Jonathan Mendelson), Adam, Samantha (Andrew) Hunter, Benjamin, Cassandra, and Josephine; step-granddaughter Camryn Bellish; and one great-grandchild, David. Vistation will be held on Saturday Aug. 25 from 9:30am until the time of the funeral at 10:30am at Radel Funeral Co., 650 Neeb Road in Delhi 451-8800.
