Bernard “Ben” Edward of Cincinnati died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 20th, 2018 at the age of 91. Ben was the beloved husband of the late Sally Ann and father to Steve (Stacey) and Chris (Lisa) and Papa to Allison, Christopher, Devin, and Brady Loechtenfeldt. He is preceded in death by his parents Ada and Bernard C. Loechtenfeldt, his brother Dick, and sister Joan McMillan. He is survived by his sisters in law Jeannie Loechtenfeldt, Pat Flanigan, Kathy (Pete)Eide, and Connie Brogan, and brothers in law Dan Brogan (Debby), and Jay Brogan (Jackie) as well as many nieces and nephews. Ben was a graduate of Elder High School and Xavier University and lifelong member of the AXE club. He was a WWII veteran (Army Air Corp) and retired from the Federal Home Loan Bank Board. Visitation will be at Our Lady of Victory Church 808 Neeb Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45233 on Monday August 27th from 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am.
