Silas S. Passed away on October 4, 2018 at the age of 95. He was preceded in death by his parents William D. and Rachael Owens, his two sisters Arlene and Russie Phillips, Brothers Dale, Hershel and Garland Owens. Also preceded in death by his beloved companion Evelyn F. Baechle. He is Bereaved by her son Eugene Baechle and granddaughter Sandra May. Survivors are his daughter, Alfie Robinson of Florence, Ky., Two sisters Barbara Freeman of Tennessee and Gertrude Armstrong of New York along with his nieces and nephews. Silas served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII as a sergeant and airplane mechanic. Special thanks to Council on Aging, Guardian Services, Cincinnati EMS Team, Good Samaritan Hospital, Western Hills Retirement Center and Radel Funeral Services. All were excellent in providing caring and professional services. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 9th from 11:00am until the time of the funeral services at 12:00pm at The Radel Funeral Home 650 Neeb Rd.45233 451-8800 or www.radelfuneral.com
