Shirley Anne (Nee: McGowan) beloved wife of the late Roger Laib. Cherished mother of Lisa (Dennis) Conroy, Julie (Steve) Dixon, Renee (Gregg) Bedinghaus and Sheila (Scott) Schmitt. Devoted grandmother of Trisha (Jeff) Bateman, Jennie (Craig) Behrendt, Gregg (Aubrey Catching) Bedinghaus Jr., Joe Bedinghaus, Drew (Maria Middleton) Conroy, Savannah Schmitt and Jackson Schmitt. Preceded in death by Amanda Laib and Jason Dixon. Loving great grandmother of Carson, Gavin and Ava Behrendt and Odessa Bedinghaus. Preceded in death by baby Aidan. Dear sister of the late Ellin (Gordan) Johnson and the late Morgan McGowan. Sister in law of Glenn (the late Florence) Laib and Marge (the late Ken) Laib. Also cherished by many nieces and nephews. Shirley passed away on October 8, 2018 at the age of 82. She was a retired quality assurance agent from The Internal Revenue Service. Visitation will be held on Friday October 12th from 9:00am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Dominic Church, 4551 Delhi Avenue. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Knoxville, 318 Nancy Lynn Lane, Knoxville, TN 37919.
