Carole Elaine Judith (nee Link) entered eternal life on August 3rd, 2020. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.
Her life began on June 23rd, 1938 in Cheviot Ohio, the daughter of Kathryn and John Link. She was forever proud of her humble beginnings and loved driving through
Cheviot remembering times gone by.
Starting full time work at an early age due to the death of her father, her work ethic was legendary. Rain or shine yard work was getting done. Kids were rolled over in bed
every Saturday morning so the sheets could be put in the washer. The driveway had to be swept off prior
to a torrential rain storm due to the fact someone may drive by and see grass clippings on it. The garage didn't just get cleaned out it was scrubbed. Shirts that were in the hamper
Friday night were washed Ironed and hung by Saturday night. The only time she stopped cleaning was to make lunch or cook dinner.
She caught the eye of a young Erv Hoinke Jr at Hoinke Lanes. He was amazed not only by her looks but her athletic ability. They share a love of golf, bowling, casinos and most of all her
beloved Cincinnati Bengals. She never missed a Bengals game regardless of their record and every year believed that they would be in the Super Bowl.
The only thing she loved more than the Bengals were her children and her dogs. No matter how busy she was she would never miss a baseball game, football game, bowling tournament,
or golf tournament. Whatever her kids were doing that day was more important than anything else. Animals were her next great love. It was said that she never found a dog, they found
her. She will be met at the Pearly Gates by numerous 4 legged friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Kathryn, her husband of 57 years Erv, her sister Lois Peters, brother Jack Link and grandson Tyler.
She is survived by her Sister Beverly (Jerry) Hecht whom she greatly cherished and loved.
She is also survived by her children Tracy (Lisa), Russell (Amy), Jennifer (Ken) Klekamp and Christopher. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as nieces and
nephews who cared for her deeply.
Services will be held privately
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Hospice of Cincinnati or League for Animal Welfare.
