William A, beloved husband of Ruth (Nee: Sattler) Burkhart. Loving father of Anthony, Gregory (Karen), Jeffrey, Teresa Squeri and Julie Ann Burkhart. Devoted grandfather of five and great-grandfather of four. Dear brother of Charles (Butz), Clair (Moe) and the late Norbert, Gerard (Zeke), Alvina Bender and Mildred Streitmarter. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Passed away on January 1, 2019 at the age of 97. Private visitation for family only. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thurs. Jan. 10th 1:00 P.M. at St. William Church. If so desired memorials may be made to the National Down Syndrome Society, 8 E 41st St, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10017. Radel Funeral Home, 451-8800 serving the family.

I met Bill in 2012. I became his buddy watching the Reds games in the basement of his home. He had alot of knowledge of the baseball players. He was also a huge Xavier basketball fan so we would watch them too. I am so sorry for his loss. I will always have cherished memories of us celebrating a Red,s win.

He had a long life full of all the wonderful things that make it a great life. Family, friends and lots of love. He was s very lucky man. I’m sorry for your loss.
