Terry was a man of few words until you got him to start talking. He would become "Chatty Cathy" all of a sudden whether it was talking about his time that he proudly served with the Army for our country in Vietnam, family events, sharing his wealth of know-how knowledge or something going on in the news. He soaked up information and would share it whenever the opportunity found itself appropriate to do so.

He was always fixing or tinkering on something at his workbench. It may have been electronics like a radio or tv, something around the house like a sink or a lawn mower but usually it was something to do with a car. He didn't know it at first but later realized that he instilled a life long passion of cars into his sons Tom and Keith along with his grandson Nico. It didn't matter if it was putting a more powerful engine into his 1968 Chevelle that he bought shortly after he came back from Vietnam, working on his Mustangs because they were Fix Or Repair Daily, his yellow 1973 GMC pickup that was hard to look at but ran nickel new and lightning fast, a relative or friends car or any of the many, many other vehicles he had over the years. He never lost his fix-it ways even as recently as a couple of months ago although by then he was having a tough time walking or even moving. That wasn't going to stop him when he made up his mind to make some "modifications" to his brand new power adjustable bed. Much to his sons surprise they found him one day wrenching on the bed rails to move them to where he thought they should have been from the factory. "Bad design to have them on each side" he told us as he had bolts and screws everywhere. We talked him out of finding his drill and duct tape before things got out of hand.

He loved old Clint Eastwood westerns and "action-packed" movies, slap-stick comedies, watching David Letterman, a range of music from artists like Marty Robbins and Janis Joplin to even his most recent favorite Taylor Swift! Most of all he loved his family. He showed us that life isn't perfect but as we grow older we can learn from the past. Just like when he would ask our Mom "Do ya still love me?" The answer was and will always be "Yes" from his entire family. The opportunities will continue to arise everyday for the rest of us but unfortunately he won't be there to give advice when asked. He will be greatly missed by everyone who ever came in contact with this one of a kind man.
