Janet (Nee: Otto) 81, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Sarah Otto, her husband George Stalf, her son George Jr. and her brother Richard Otto.
She will be missed dearly by her survivors: daughters Connie Stalf, Vickie (Vic) Lassandro and Teri Stalf; and son Mike(Sue)Stalf, her six grandchildren: Joe Stalf, Matt (Marie) Stalf, Tony Lassandro, Fiona Stalf, Wolfie Stalf and Ziggy Stalf; siblings Delores (Dick) Fox and Ronnie (Sandy) Otto; five nephews and four nieces and other extended family members and friends.
Thank you to all the wonderful caretakers at Western Hills Retirement Community who made her last five and a half years comfortable and filled with love and friendships.
Janet left this earth listening to Elvis and I promised her he would be waiting above to serenade her home. I'm sure there is a happy reunion going on right now with her loved ones and Elvis.
Graveside service will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Joseph New Cemetery, 4500 Foley Road, Delhi (meet in the chapel). In lieu of flowers please send donations in her memory to the local Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linne St. #1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203 or online donations may be made at www.alz.org/cincinnati.

My Dad lived a few doors down from her at the Village when she lived on the 1st floor. I always looked forward to seeing her smiling face and talking with her on my way to see him. Despite her illness, she was always very sweet and eager to talk. Take care.
