Robert D. Sr. beloved husband of the late Sherri K. (Nee: Blum) Stonestreet. They were married for 54 years. Loving father of Robert D. Stonestreet Jr. and Susan (Charles) K. Waring. Beloved son of the late Willene (Nee: Stamper) and Edmond Stonestreet. Dear brother of Willie Kat McCoy. Cherished uncle of Cathy, Melody, Tracy and Mitzi. Also survived by numerous other amazing family and friends.
He was a graduate of Oyler Public, Western Hills High School, University of Cincinnati and Xavier University. He also served in the U.S. Army. Robert worked for the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County for 31 years and retired as its Director.
Bob had an enduring presence and could be considered a true renaissance man. Passed away on April 19, 2019 at the age of 87 years after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Visitation will be Monday April 29th from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 A.M. all at St. Antoninus Church, 1500 Linneman Rd., 45238. Interment at St. Joseph New Cemetery immediately following. If so desired memorials may be made to St. Antoninus Church or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Radel Funeral Home, 451-8800 is serving the family.

Mr. Stonestreet has been a patient of mine for many years, he was such a nice man and made everyday a little brighter when he would come into the office. I will miss seeing his smile and his conversation.

I had the pleasure of working under Mr. Stonestreet at the Cincinnati and Hamilton Co. Library. He was always friendly and never passed me without saying hi! My thoughts and prayers are with the family. R.I.P. Mr. Stonestreet.
