Bollinger
Kathleen A. (Nee: Bruzina) loving life partner of Lou Henschen. Loving mother of Bryan (Dana) Houser and Kristina (Kayla Owens) Bollinger. Cherished daughter of Dianna (the late William) Rinear. Devoted grandmother of Logan and Ethan Houser. Dear sister of Jenn (Robb) Reinshagen, Dennis (Heidi), Judy and Bob (Holly) Bruzina.
Also survived by numerous other family and friends. Passed away suddenly on July 7, 2019 at the age of 55 years. Visitation will be Monday, July 15th from 11:00 A.M. until the time of funeral services 2:30 P.M. at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, 451-8800. In lieu of flowers and to honor Kathy’s love of running, memorials may be made to Sophie’s Angel Run, Inc., for pediatric brain cancer research at 6513 Greenoak Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45248.
Kathy touched so many lives during her time with us and was always volunteering to help with charitable events from golf outings to community improvements. An avid runner, she enjoyed her club runs and participated in several Flying Pig marathons and 5K’s. Kathy was also a cast member of Back To Broadway charitable musical revues for several seasons, which was inspired by her love for gymnastics and baton while in grade school and then as a member of several cheer squads and the OHHS Oakettes drill team. Always one to look her absolute best, her recent affection for camping (or glamping!) was a bit of a surprise to many, but she immersed herself into it as she did with everything. Kathy, with her infectious laugh, perky sense of humor and deep sense of compassion has left a void in everyone she had touched, but particularly to her soul mate, Lou. Together, they were the toast of Cabana on the River. We love you, Kat and miss your smile.

Although we met Kathy just 6 years ago during our annual 6 week stay at the Estero Beach Club, my wife, Kathy, and I were immediately drawn to her warm, genuine demeanor. Our Ft. Myers Beach family will miss Kathy's presence. Our prayers go out to Kathy's family and to our friend, Lou. God Bless, Roger and Kathy Kesterke

Kathy always lit up the room. She did not know a stranger and made everyone feel comfortable. Gone too soon, may peace and comfort be with all of you who were close to her.

Kathy was the sweetest most welcoming person with the biggest smile...she was a wonderful mother and best “Mimi” ever! Kathy is going to be missed so very much. Keeping Bryan, Dana, Kristina, Kayla, Jen, and Lou in my prayers.
