Hilde Menke (Nee: Waibel) passed away on August 22, 2019 at the age of 91 and was greeted in Heaven by her late husband Walter T. Menke and late son Ron Menke. She was the loving mother to Walter G. Menke and mother-in-law to Susan Menke, both of Cincinnati, OH. Devoted Oma (grandmother) to Melissa (Nickolas) Harty of Tampa, FL, Jessica (Ryan Gould) Menke of Westfield, IN, Megan Menke of Dunedin, FL, and Michael Menke and Alicia Menke of Cincinnati, OH. Great grandmother to Henry Gould and Benjamin Harty. Hilde was born in Eislingen/Fils, Germany, near Stuttgart, and immigrated to the United States in 1950, residing in the Cincinnati neighborhoods of Price Hill and Delhi Township. She was a member of St. Simon's Catholic Church in Delhi. She was an avid reader, loved gardening, was an excellent cook and baker, and enjoyed weekly card games with friends. By her request, there will not be a visitation nor burial mass, but she will be laid to rest in St. Joseph New Cemetery.
