Daniel “Dan” Joseph
Age 56, passed away peacefully comforted by his sister, Beverly Deye, and brother-in-law Christopher Deye on August 30, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Dan was born on November 18, 1962, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Herman and the late Mary Jane Briede. Loving uncle to Joe, Kevin, and Julie Deye and loyal and caring friend to all.
Dan was a 1981 graduate of Elder High School and a 1985 graduate of Thomas Moore College. He was known for his love of golf, OLV Old-Timers, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bengals. Dan fought his cancer fiercely with dignity and unending positivity. He taught us how to be the best version of ourselves. Dan never met a stranger. He will be missed deeply by all who were privileged to have known him.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45233. 451-8800. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, 810 Neeb Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45233.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to one of the following organizations: Sophie’s Angel Run, 6513 Greenoak Dr., Cincinnati OH 45248 (www.sophiesangelrun.org), Our Lady of Victory Athletic Association - Old-Timers, 810 Neeb Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45233, or Hospice of Cincinnati.
