Robert Rouse

Robert A. 88, of Mexico Mo., Formerly of Cincinnati, Died at 2:05pm on Thurs. Mar. 8, 2012 at Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico. Mr. Rouse was born on Feb. 28, 1924 in Cincinnati, son of Cecil and Flossie (Vaughn) Rouse. On Dec. 15, 1945 he married Mary Tully who preceded him in death on Nov. 1, 1990. Mr. Rouse worked as a foreman with the Cincinnati Department of Public Works. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the Marines. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and American Veterans. He was a Christian. Survivors include one son Robert A. (Mary) Rouse Jr.; two daughters; Joyce Grossman of Mexico and Shirley Feeney of Kentucky, one brother; Edward Rouse of Cincinnati and four sisters; Mrs. Ralph (Rose) Shie, Mrs. Ken (Gladys) Glassmeyer of Cincinnati, Mrs. Floyd (Reenie) Horton of Indiana and Mrs. Howard (Nancy) Wagner of Florida; 10 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Cecil Rouse, Wilma Fisher, Viola Bacon, Lillian Loesbsach, Elmer and Ginny Rouse. Visitation will be held on Tues. Mar. 13th from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon at the Radel Funeral Home 4122 Glenway Ave. 921-4512. Entombment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery.
