Lula Ward

Lula (Nee: Huff) beloved wife of the late James C. Ward for more than 72 years. Loving mother of Ronald (Shirley) Ward, Dorothy (Bill) Stewart, James R. (Traci) Ward and the late Larry Ward. Dear mother-in-law of Kathy Ward. Beloved grandmother of Leslie, Darren, Steve, Greg, Cindy, Kevin, Jamie, Kelly, Brian, Bradley and Sherry. Cherished great-grandmother of 21. Dear daughter of the late William Allen “Bud” and Sarah (Nee: Sparks) Huff. Adored sister of the late Vincent, Elsie, Debbie, Minnie and Eva. Lula was a long time member of St. Martins and Trinity Hill United Church of Christ. Lula was an outstanding example of what a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend should be. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed. We will always hold her in our hearts. Lula’s journey to heaven began peacefully on Saturday, April 7 at the age of 93. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 11 from 5:00 P.M. until the time of funeral services 7:00 P.M. at the Radel Funeral Home, 650 Neeb Road, 451-8800. If so desired memorials may be made to the Trinity Hill United Church of Christ Memorial Fund.
